MILL HILL REGIONAL PARK

Moss covered hills, Gary Oaks, Arbutus Trees and views of the
surrounding areas highlight this regional park. This little know park
with it's moss covered rocks and trees, is a pleasure to hike.
For the more adventurous hiker, a trail winds down the eastern side
of Mill Hill and connects with a trail to Thetis Lake Regional Park
on the other side of the Trans-Canada Highway, one of the
most popular regional parks on the southern island.

Both Thetis Lake and Mill Hill Regional Park can be reached from
Victoria via the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. Access can be found at
the Six Mile Road over pass, approx a 40 min ride from downtown Victoria.
Trail rating moderate to challenging. For more info and maps visit the

Take the Hwy 1 and exit 10 or 1A from Victoria onto the Old Island Hwy 14
turn right at the 6 Mile Pub onto 6 Mile Road, left onto Atkins Aveune,
follow Atkins to park entrance, on the right next to the entrance to the
CDR Parks headquarters.
