The Lochside Regional Trail is another old railway line which has been converted into a recreational trail from Sidney to Victoria where it joins with the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. Creating a trail system which extends from Swartz Bay at the northern tip of the Saanich Pennisla, to the Sooke Basin on the south western coast of Vancouver Island.
