TOD DAY USE PARK |

Gowlland Tod Park offers more than
25 kilometers of trails and spectacular views. Posted signs give trail information. Malahat Viewpoint, Squally Reach and Jocelyn Hill view points offer spectacular views
of the Finlayson Arm Inlet and the Malahat Drive. Day use only. |

Clear green tidal pools and a fern lined trail with a rainforest
feel mark this access to Mckenize Bight. Part of Gowlland
Tod Provincial Park, the McKenize Bight Access is the northern starting point to many
of the hiking trails within this park. You can also access though the Timberman
Trail a few feet down the road and follow the trail along the waterfall. Hiking time is approx. 20-25min to beach. |

Though well mark and maintained many of these
trails are fairly steep. Just past Durrance
Lake turn left off Willis Point Road, you'll find parking just around the corner. |

Timberman Trail - Gowlland Tod Park |
Part of Gowlland
Tod Provincial Park, the Timberman
Trail starts off as a gentle wide open trail leading to many of the view points within this park. You will come to fork in the trail and a small bridge
which crosses the top of a waterfall. Posted sign gives trail information. |

Keeping to the left will lead to the Malahat
Viewpoint. Squally
Reach and Jocelyn
Hill viewpoints also offer spectacular views of the Finlayson
Arm Inlet and the Malahat
Drive, eventually meeting with the Ridgeline
Trail and the southern Caleb
Pike trail access. |

Keeping to the right
will lead you to a viewing platform over looking the waterfall. Continuing to follow this trail will give you access
to McKenzie
Bight Trail and the beach. WARNING This trail is steep. |

Just behind Durrance
Lake and part of the Gowlland Tod Provincial Park system. Nice views of southern island and Saanich Inlet. Network of
old roads which are fairly easy to navigate, though unmarked or maintained these trails are becoming increasing popular with mountain bikers. |

Tod Park system, Tod Inlet can be reach by both
land and sea, providing safe and secluded overnight anchorage. Enjoyable 20 min hike from Wallace Drive. |

Pike Access is the southern starting point to the more than 25 kilometers
of trails this park offers. Following the Ridgeline Trail will lead to one
of the many
viewpoints along the way.
Jocelyn
Hill, Malahat Viewpoint, also offer spectacular views of the
Finlayson Arm Inlet and the Malahat Drive, eventually meeting with
the
Timberman Trail and the northern McKenize
Bight Access. |
