Galloping Goose Regional Trail stretches from Sooke to downtown
Victoria
where it joins with the Lochside Regional Trail. Along the
way it passes by Thetis Lake, through Matheson Lake Reg. Park,
Roche Cove
, hugs the Sooke basin shoreline and skirts the
Sooke Potholes
just southeast of Sooke.

Formerly a railway line, this wide sunny 55km Regional Trail,
travels through urban, rural and wilderness scenery.

Both Thetis Lake and Mill Hill Regional Park can be reached from
Victoria via the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. Access can be found at
the Six Mile Road overpass, approx a 40 min ride from downtown Victoria.
